- Souss-Massa
- Administrative region in southwestern Morocco, encompassing the Souss plain, the slopes of the Anti-Atlas, and the Agadir area. Riad Bio is based in Tanalt, in Chtouka-Aït Baha province. The region is famous for its argan tree, citrus, honey, and amlou.
- Anti-Atlas
- Mountain range in southern Morocco extending from the Atlantic to the desert. Semi-arid climate, unique biodiversity (endemic argan tree, euphorbias, wild thyme). Source of traditional apiculture and several rare Moroccan honeys, including Daghmous.
- Moroccan Atlas
- Mountain system comprising the High Atlas, the Middle Atlas, and the Anti-Atlas. Altitudes can exceed 4000 m. Cradle of Moroccan mountain apiculture, source of altitude honeys (thyme, lavender, rosemary, wild herbs) with complex aromas.
- Tanalt
- Locality in Chtouka-Aït Baha province, in the Souss-Massa region of southern Morocco. Headquarters of the Riad Bio cooperative. Rural area surrounded by argan trees, near Anti-Atlas apiaries and women's argan-oil cooperatives.
